Groups at Lakeside

United Women in Faith of Lakeside UMC has a membership of over sixty. We meet eight months of the year for study and reflection. We support advocacy efforts for women, children, and you. Circles meet every third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Lakeside United Methodist Men meet the second Tuesday of each month. Labor Day through Memorial Day. All men of the church are welcome to attend the 6:30 p.m. dinner meeting and program. The group promotes global UMM-sponsored activities, as well as local and conference projects that help the less fortunate.

The Piecemakers are a sewing group that creates beautiful baby quilts and lap quilts for local area hospitals and senior living facilities. We meet every Tuesday from 9 a.m.-12 noon. There are lots of tasks to be done, including cutting, ironing, sewing, and knotting. Come and join us in wrapping warmth for those in need! Can’t commit three hours? Come whenever you can!

The LUMC Exercise Group meets Monday through Friday at 8:30 AM in the Parlor. During warm weather, we walk outside on the Lakeside waterfront path. We do low impact exercise twelve months out of the year, rain or shine. So come and join us!

The Memorial Committee assists members and friends of Lakeside United Methodist Church in honoring and remembering our families and friends who have departed.
