You may contribute to UMCOR’s response to recent hurricanes and typhoons.

Make your check out to Lakeside UMC and indicate your designation on the memo line. For Hurricane Florence, it’s East Ohio Fund 1327: US Disaster Response, and for the typhoon in the Philippines it’s Advance  982450: UMCOR International Disaster Response.  If you give cash, please indicate your designation somewhere on the giving envelope.  We will collect donations through the end of September, and then send one check from the church to the East Ohio Conference.  Please remember that 100% of UMCOR special offerings will be directed to the emergency relief effort.

“So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”   Mark 11:24

If you would like your loved one’s name on the prayer list, use our yellow connect card or call the church office. We publish names in the bulletin for 3 weeks unless otherwise notified.
